Uzbekistan Flag
The colors azure, white, green, and red are traditionally regarded sacred and essential in Uzbek culture and history, hence the Uzbek flag has a deep symbolic value. The hue azure indicates serenity and tranquillity, while white represents purity and innocence.
The color green represents vitality, growth, and the natural beauty of the land. The red fimbriations signify the country's valor, courage, and people's sacrifices. The white crescent moon and twelve stars signify the country's Islamic background as well as Uzbekistan's twelve regions. The flag is a powerful symbol of the Uzbek people's unity and diversity, and it is commemorated every year on November 18 as Uzbekistan's Flag Day.
