England Flag
The English flag, commonly known as the Saint George's Cross, is a national symbol of England, one of the United Kingdom's constituent countries.
It has a white backdrop with a red cross on it.
The red cross has been used as a symbol of england since the late middle ages, when it was employed alongside the royal banner.
The Saint George's Cross became the only saint's flag that may be flown in public during the English Reformation. It was also a popular maritime flag, known as a white ensign. It was incorporated into the design of the Union Jack in 1606.
